6月1日（土）14時～16時に、タリタクム日本のオンラインセミナーが開催されます。

タイトルは、「いわゆる「夜職」に従事する女性たちの支援を続けて〜可視化されにくい性的搾取の実態と支援」です。

児童ポルノやアダルト・ビデオ出演被害、JKビジネス、買春など、子どもや若年女性を対象とした性的搾取の状況は深刻です。

今回のセミナーでは、2018年4月から、新宿・歌舞伎町を活動拠点として風俗や売春に従事する女性を性的搾取や犯罪被害から守るため、アウトリーチや立ち寄り所、シェルターなどを通じた若年女性の支援に取り組んでいるレスキュー・ハブの坂本新さんを講師にお迎えします。

日本の若年女性への性的搾取の状況を知り、カトリック教会として今後どのように関わっていくか一緒に考えたいと思います。皆さまのご参加をお待ちしています。こちらのサイトからお申込みください。

中南米、ロシア等の日本大使館にて警備・防諜業務に10年従事。性的搾取被害にあう女性や子どもの安全対策の必要を痛感。2013年に国際NGOへ転職、2020年4月より現職。繁華街でのアウトリーチ活動を通し、直接支援の提供ならびに行政機関等への政策提言を行っている。日本イエスキリスト教団会員。

Title: Continuing Support for Women Engaged in So-Called “Night Work”

~The submerged reality of sexual exploitation and the support activities~

The situation of sexual exploitation targeting children and young women, including child pornography, adult video victimization, JK business and prostitution, is serious.

In this seminar, we will welcome Mr. Arata Sakamoto from Rescue Hub, which has been working since April 2018 to protect women engaged in adult entertainment and prostitution from sexual exploitation and criminal damage, through outreach, drop-in centers and shelters, based in Kabukicho, Shinjuku.

Let us learn more about the situation of sexual exploitation of young women in Japan, and consider how we, as the Catholic Church, will be able to get involved in this issue. We look forward to your participation.　Please register beforehand from this site.

<Profile of Mr. Arata Sakamoto>

He had been engaged in security and counterintelligence work at Japanese embassies in mainly Latin America and Russia for 10 years. Being keenly aware of the need for protective measures for women and children, victims of sexual exploitation, he switched carrier to international NGO in 2013, and has been working at Rescue Hub since April 2020. He is providing direct support in the downtown area and making policy recommendations to government agencies. A member of the Jesus Christ Church in Japan.
